Your payment is needed for music, equipment, space rental, domain fees, advertising, and occasional donations to causes that build our community and support the movement arts. There is also quite a bit of labor that goes into the creation of this offering, and a small amount of collected fees go to self-care and dance-related learning for the human behind the dance. Please see your contribution as an investment in yourself and in the perpetuation of this event in our community.
Come as you are, and accept others as they are.
Move in anyway that is safe for you and everyone else. Let your body guide you. Not moving is also fine.
No conversations on the dance floor, although other sounds are encouraged - clap, sing, and whoop it up!
This is a drug & alcohol free space.
No phones. Photos or video with permission only.
Reminders:
Take care of yourself. You are responsible for your well-being.
Check in with yourself often to make sure everything you are doing feels good to you. It can be easy to get overwhelmed or follow the group when you really would be more comfortable with something else. It is always ok to do something different if it will feel more supportive for you.
Take responsibility for your experience and let Jeanie know if you have a suggestion or need support around something.
